Congrats, you've worked through some of the Start Sailing Adult Sailing Course, now let's start building up your time on the water!

SYC wants to help build your confidence, get you learning more skills and ultimately join our club racing fleets either crewing or even better... with a boat of your own. Sailing is a lifelong sport, so let's get started.

The program will be run over 2x Tuesdays and 1x Wednesday night and will be facilitated by Irish Sailing Instructors who will help you rig, sail faster and introduce you to the different aspects of crewing and helming on our versatile single handed dinghy, the RS Pico.

On the night, our Irish sailing Instructors will be in ribs, coaching and instructing you to sail better and faster. There will also be a safety boat driver, and with a few coaching tips.

Following the course you will be encouraged to join the fleet for the rest of the Summer and continue your sailing journey as a full member of the club.

 As with all sailing courses, there will be days when weather conditions will prevent some or all participants going on the water. This cannot be avoided and shore-based learning will be organised in lieu.
