SBSS Sailing Instructor Pre-Entry

This is a one day Sailing Skills and Theory assessment on Saturday 5th April 2025 from 0900-1700.
It will be held at Sligo Yacht Club.
If possible please keep Sunday 6th April free also incase of bad weather. This gives us more options toward achieving the Pre Entry Assessment.

IMPORTANT PRE-REQUISITES
you MUST now ensure that you have the following Course Pre-requisites in
place BEFORE you take up your place on the Irish Sailing Instructor Course.
a) Powerboat Level 1 Minimum
b) Emergency First Aid cert
c) Child Safeguarding Level 1 Minimum
d) Garda Vetting Clearance
e) Current Irish Sailing Membership
Please wear full wetsuit, buoyancy aid and gear suitable for Dinghy sailing. You will also need a packed lunch, as well as warm clothing to change into afterwards.
Be sure to review and study for the Theory Papers in advance. You will be presented with only 1 of the 3 papers on the day.
